SUMMARY:Hike/Walk Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail
DESCRIPTION:Makapu’u lighthouse trail – very short and easy. Since whales are still lurking in the ocean\, this will be a good time to do whale watching during the hike. Well paved trail. It’s just like a short walk up the road to the lighthouse \nWe can also go the beach for sometime after this hike. Beach trail is also very short and flat all the way. We can stop by Koko Marina plaza for lunch before returning home   FREE event. \nMeeting point – 9 am at the trail entrance \nGee will be the lead (ie\, she will be in front of everyone) & I (Terry) will be the sweeper/follow (ie\, I will make sure that everyone is in front of me). You should make sure that you are between us\, hopefully with eyes on one of us at all times for safety. \nLet’s have a safe but enjoyable day together. After the hike\, we will probably head over to some place to feed our hungry bellies. Brainstorm where at! : ) \nIF THE WEATHER IS BAD\, ASSUME THAT WE HAVE CANCELED THE EVENT. We can always do this on another day…the risk is not worth it. \nAnd as always\, although we make safety a priority\, by coming you are accepting that you are solely responsible for your own safety & should not do anything you shouldn’t esp if you have medical restrictions.
