DESCRIPTION:RSVP by filling out the contact form to receive Sasaki’s cell so you can text him with issues. \nWaimano Tunnels Upper Loop Hike – 3 mile loop trail with tunnels with lush greenery & a stream. \n\nDifficulty: BEGINNER\nTime: 3-4 HOURS\nDistance: 6 MILES  (We will only do half of it)\n\nElevation Gain: 300 FEET\nFoot Traffic: MODERATE\nChallenges: Muddy and Flooded Tunnels\, Some narrow(ish) sections\nSights: The Tunnels\, Waimano Valley\nWhat to Bring: Water\, Flashlight\, Snack\n\nPARKING: On Street at the end of waimano home road.  Trail starts left of the fence.  Meet at the trail head. \nGee will be the lead (ie\, she will be in front of everyone) & I (Terry) will be the sweeper/follow (ie\, I will make sure that everyone is in front of me). You should make sure that you are between us\, hopefully with eyes on one of us at all times for safety. \nLet’s have a safe but enjoyable day together.   After the hike\, we will probably head over to some place to feed our hungry bellies. Brainstorm where at! : ) \nIF THE WEATHER IS BAD\, ASSUME THAT WE HAVE CANCELED THE EVENT. We can always do this on another day…the risk is not worth it. \nAnd as always\, although we make safety a priority\, by coming you are accepting that you are solely responsible for your own safety & should not do anything you shouldn’t esp if you have medical restrictions.
