DESCRIPTION:Makapu’u lighthouse trail – very short and easy. Since whales are still lurking in the ocean\, this will be a good time to do whale watching during the hike. Well paved trail. It’s just like a short walk up the road to the lighthouse \nWe can also go the beach for sometime after this hike. Beach trail is also very short and flat all the way. We can stop by Koko Marina plaza for lunch before returning home   FREE event. \nMeeting point – 9 am at the trail entrance \nWhile we make safety a priority\, by coming to our events you understand that you are solely responsible for your own safety & should not do anything that you should not do\, esp if you have medical conditions or other restrictions.

DESCRIPTION:Didn’t have enough karaoke at our last party? \nCome join us again for FIVE hours of karaoke & eating.  Search YouTube to prepare your list (eg\, if you want to sing the male/lower key version of Adele’s songs).  Someone also suggested an open mic/talent show…so if you want to do spoken word\, or standup\, or play something\, we would welcome you. \nOn top of potluck\, this event costs $5.  This is to defray costs of machine/mics\, pay for a little gift for the person who lets us use the facilities\, and subsidizes for silverware/utensils/sundries/etc.  You can always give more.  And if you can’t afford it\, please contact Sasaki well in advance so we can arrange something (eg\, you could help setup & clean up). \nBring a main dish/entree to share for potluck (aim for >$10 value & serve >8 folks) & BYOB (bring your own beverages).
