    RSVP by filling out the contact form to receive Sasaki's cell so you can text him with issues. Parking - close to telephone road in tantalus. The area is prone to break-ins so be careful. Park at your own risk We will meet in trail entrance (corner of tantalus road + telephone road) We will walk from KALAWAHINE trail to PAUOA FLATS trail and will be back the same way we entered. https://alohawithlove.com/tantalus-drive-pauoa-flats-oahu-hikes-hawaii-travel-things-to-do-in-hawaii/ About 2.5 to 3 miles out and back and takes about 2 to 3 hours. Pauoa flats has makiki valley view at the end. Mostly it is flat trail with few inclined places in between.  Good shoes are always recommended as the trail can be muddy and slippery if it rains.  Sun & bug protection is recommended. Gee will be the lead (ie, she will be in front of everyone) & I (Terry) will be the sweeper/follow (ie, I will make sure that everyone is in front of me). You should make sure that you are between us, hopefully with eyes on one of us at all times for safety.     Karaoke Potluck Pool Party

    Join us for another Karaoke Potluck Pool Party.  We will have prizes this time. 5 hours of karaoke & eating...&/or take a dip in the pool or jacuzzi/hot tub. BYOB (bring your own beverages).  Each person should bring $5 AND a main dish/entree to share (which should be >$10 & >8 servings). OR you can bring $15/person. The $5 is to defray/subsidize costs of the karaoke machine/mics, the plates/utensils/sundries/etc, & buy a small gift for the person who lets us use the place.  You can always give more.  And if you can’t afford it, please contact Sasaki well in advance so we can arrange something (eg, you could help setup & clean up). Difficulty: BEGINNER Time: 3-4 HOURS Distance: 6 MILES  (We will only do half of it) Elevation Gain: 300 FEET Foot Traffic: MODERATE Challenges: Muddy and Flooded Tunnels, Some narrow(ish) sections Sights: The Tunnels, Waimano Valley What to Bring: Water, Flashlight, Snack PARKING: On Street at the end of waimano home road.  Trail starts left of the fence.  Meet at the trail head.
